Designed and completed study of migratory birds communities in burned and unburned stands of lodgepole pine forest in central Colorado.
Assisted in the preparation of an expert report regarding ecosystem-level impacts of mining activity along the Coeur d'Alene River, Idaho.
Completed comprehensive wildlife habitat assessments on abandoned coal mine lands in southcentral Montana.
Conducted aerial surveys of pronghorn antelope, mule deer, and elk populations in southcentral Wyoming.
Completed aerial surveys of raptor nests in northwestern Colorado, southcentral Wyoming, and northeastern Utah. Aerial surveys were followed up with ground-truthing of nest status.
Completed black-footed ferret habitat evaluation (prairie-dog colony mapping) on over 400 square-mile area of south central Wyoming and black-footed ferret surveys in southwest Wyoming. |
